Tangerine Mica is a lively orange which is a lovely, clean orange colour.  Great for blending lipsticks, and in lip balm of course, Tangerine Mica is great in all applications.  Tangerine Mica exhibits a medium level of sheen and is stable in CP and MP Soap.

For accurate measuring of Micas (especially if blending for Mineral Makeup) we stock Pigment Scoops.

This Colour is a:  Non bleeding Mica
Liquid Soaps – No - pigment will settle to the bottom of the bottle over time
Usage Guide Range: from 1 teaspoon (3 – 4g) per 500g of soap

Our Test Results:

Produces a pearlescent crisp orange colour in clear MP Soap Base and a pastel but apricot tone with no shimmer in white MP Soap Base.  In CP produces a good depth of colour at fair concentration or more pastel if used at lower concentration.
pH sensitivity:  Stable in high pH  products such as CP Soap
Colour Fading: This colour is not light sensitive and not prone to fading
Colour Bleeding (Migration): Non bleeding, suitable for embedding, layering and swirling
Micas can be mixed in a little Fragrance, Water or Oil to moisten before use – Oil is the easiest for Micas.  This will minimise clumping and/or speckling.
