Mica, Antique Silver

Mica, Antique Silver

Availability: In stock

Antique Silver Mica is a burnished silver and is a rich silver when used alone, but it is aso excellent to mix with a metallic colour palette including  Royal Gold, New Gold, Copper, White Lustre and White Pearl.  It's lip safe, eye safe, and works well in Cold Processed Soap!  It looks great brushed over your finished bars for an antique effect or for a super shimmery pencil line in your cold processed soaps.  You can also use it to tone down bright colours for something more subdued.

Product Suitability:

Our Test Results:

Produces a dark burnished silver/grey colour in clear MP Soap Base and a dove grey colour with no shimmer in white MP Soap Base. In Cold Process Soap it produces a mid tone grey colour. Works beautifully brushed into fine detail such as soap stamping and also for the "pencil line" colour stripes and for brushing on top of sultry colour bars for added surface sheen
pH sensitivity: Stable in high pH products such as CP Soap
Colour Fading: This mica is a pigment and is resistant to fading
Colour Bleeding (Migration): Non bleeding Colour

Note: Our Micas  are packed in resealable vials, tubs or jars unless purchasing 500g and above or surplus stock.
