Mango Madness Cold Processed Soap

  • Prepare ingredients, benches etc

  • Prepare the colours - mix 1/4 teaspoon Citrus Orange Powder with a teaspoon Olive Oil from the oil allocation, and repeat with 3/4 teaspoon Sunflower Yellow Powder in one to two teaspons Olive Oil


  • Bring soap to thin trace and remove approximately 1 1/2 cups of soap into a 500ml heat proof jug

  • Colour this soap with Citrus Orange colour - add half, and if you want it darker add the rest of the mixture

  • Colour the main pot of soap with Sunflower Yellow mixture - it should be a nice contrast with the orange portion

  • Add Mango Mango fragrance to the main soap pot, mix manually through the soap - don't increase trace - then pour half of of the yellow soapp into the mould

  • Then, wearing your goggles, pour the orange soap from about 12 inches (30cm) above the mould controlling where it will sit in the mould

  • Tamp down the mould to allow any air bubbles to rise

  • Finish pouring the yellow soap into the mould

  • Use a chopstick to swirl the colour to achieve a marbled or swirled effect - drag the colour from end to end in two sweeping motions

  • If decorating finish with a sprinkling of dried Hibiscus Flowers and Jasmine Flowers and slice with a Crinkle Cutter
