Natural Carnauba Wax
This common wax is a great and completely vegan alternative to well-known beeswax. Acquired from Brazilian palm trees, where they aid in moisture retention, it is easy to see why this type of hard wax is commonly used in cosmetic products such as lip and body balms. It is important to note that due to its rigidity, it requires a higher melting temperature than beeswax. Also, you will only need half of the amount of carnauba wax if you are using it as a substitute. This is definitely one wax where a little goes a long way.
Natural Emulsifying Waxes

Natural Beeswax

Rice Bran Wax
Both sustainable and readily available, Rice Bran Wax is ideal for creating balms, ointments, salves, body butters, and lip balms. Rice Bran Wax is used in the cosmetic industry as a binding agent, plasticiser, thickener, and more, and is extracted using natural carbons and clays.
Candelilla Wax
