Vetiver is dark in colour, and has a strong earthy scent to match. This base note is woody, herbaceous, spicy and has an almost smoky/sweet undertone. Vetiver is is a grounding scent, and often used as a fixative for top notes and in oriental style perfumes.
May be useful for: Relaxation, nervous tension, insomnia and in the treatment of acne and to help heal wounds.
Blends with: Clary Sage, Cinnamon, Lavender, Patchouli, Jasmine, Oakmoss, Rose, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.
