Western Australian Sandalwood is a powerful, sensual and calming Essential Oil which is highly valued. In India Sandalwood has been used for many Centuries as a meditation aid, in religious ceremonies and to ground people on a spiritual level. Very useful for use in perfumery and as a base note in blends. Sandalwood has a rich, balsamic woody fragrance.
May be useful in the treatment of dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin, treating stretch marks and stress. There is recent evidence supporting its value as an anti-microbial and is useful in the treatment of skin infections, and is helpful for sore throats
