Soothing Aloe & Nettle Soap

Makes 3 x 100g bars (or 2 Heavy Duty Cavity Moulds)

This is lovely soap, both for everyday, or after Gardening when you want a gentle and soothing soap for freshly scrubbed hands. We have used Goatsmilk Melt & Pour Base and our Heavy Duty and Milky Way Moulds. This batch we scented with Cucumber Melon Fragrance and coloured it with our new Deep Seagreen Pigment Dispersion.

What You’ll Need:

• 300g Goatsmilk Melt & Pour Soap Base
• 1 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel
• 2 tsp Nettle Extract
• Stir in the colour now (if using)
• 1 - 2 tsp Cucumber Melon Fragrance (or fragrance of Choice)

Easy Instructions

1. Dice the soap base into a double boiler and melt gently (or use a microwave safe bowl in the Microwave on medium low
2. Remove from the heat and stir through the Aloe Gel and Nettle Extract until well combined
3. Spritz with alcohol to remove any bubbles on the surface
4. Now add Fragrance/Essential Oils and gently stir well
5. Pour into moulds and allow to cool
6. When completely cold remove from mould – wrap if desired to keep out moisture and prevent “sweating”

NB: Don't forget to Spritz with alcohol between any layers you make
