Passionfruit & Shea Gardeners Soap

This recipe makes 2 x 130 g sized bars of soap.

240g Melt & Pour Clear base
1/2 - 1 tablespoon Ground Pumice Stone
1/2 - 1 tablespoon Coffee Grounds
1/2 - 1 tsp Shea Butter - melted ( you can use less but not more or you sacrifice your lather & hardness)
1 tsp Passionfruit & Papaya Fragrant Oil (or Fragrance/Essential Oils of Choice)

  1. Melt half the base and add a few drops Titanium Dioxide Liquid Colour, (or use half white soap bases) stir through, then spray with alcohol to remove any small bubbles on top.
  2. Add half the measured fragrant oil and the melted Shea Butter.
  3. Carefully pour this evenly between two moulds, give them a light spray with Alcohol and let them set.
  4. Melt the remaining base and add the remaining portion of the fragrant oil, and some Violet Ultramarine Liquid Colour, then let it cool a little and begin to thicken. Stir through coffee and pumice until the soap thickens to the consistency of liquid honey and stays well suspended.
  5. Spray the surface of the white soap halves, and pour the purple pumice section onto the top of the first white pour, spray with alcohol and let set.
  6. De-mould!

When the soap is turned out of the moulds, you have a lovely purple and white bar of soap with moisturising shea in the top half and purple gritty scrub on the base - and it smells delicious!
