Makes 2 x 130 g sized bars of soap.
240 gms Melt & Pour clear base
1/2 tablespoon Oatmeal
1/2 - 1 tablespoon Ground Pumice Stone
1 tsp Mango butter ( you can use less but not more or you sacrifice your lather & hardness)
4 mls (4g maximum) of lemongrass, lemon eucalyptus or litsea essential oil or a blend of all (I particularly love the lemon scents for garden soaps as they feel just right to me!)
- Melt the base, and spray with alcohol or witchazel to remove any small bubbles on top then allow it to cool & thicken slightly.
- Add essential oils or fragrant oils if you prefer.
- Carefully stir through oatmeal and pumice continually until it gets to the point where it will stay suspended in the soap. It this point the soap will be the consistency of liquid honey.
- Pour into moulds.
NB: If you wish to colour the soap you will need to pour two layers so that the pumice does not spoil the colour.
