Lavender Furniture Polish

Lavender and Beeswax Furniture Polish

We have a lot of old furniture that belonged to my Grandmother, and also modern pine & kauri timber cupboards, and this leaves the furniture looking wonderful and smelling even better.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Almond Oil
1 table spoon Wheatgerm Oil
1 table spoon Melted Beeswax
2 table spoons Solubliser or Polysorbate
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil (Cedarwood is nice too)
Wide Neck Jars to store polish in

Method:

Simply melt all ingredients except Essential Oils in a bowl or double boiler.
Allow to cool slightly, then add Lavender Essential Oil and stir through well
Pour down into Wide Neck Jars

Here are some more Furniture Polish Recipes from the NSW Ag Department to try. Full information can be found on their Beeswax document.
