Beeswax Christmas Tree Decorations

Beeswax Christmas Decorations

Beeswax Christmas Ornaments

It is so easy to make these lovely, stylish decorations for your Christmas Tree using Natural Beeswax and your regular Guest Soap Moulds or Chocolate Moulds.

If using your regular Soaping or Mini Moulds, only pour 1/2 cm of wax in, or they will be too thick.

These decorations (pictured) use 100% Golden Yellow Beeswax Pastilles but you can use any of our Beeswax types. Scented or unscented, they are delicious!

These make excellent, economical gifts which are always admired, and can be personalised in so many ways.

The main thing to take with is the temperature of the wax as you are pouring into regular moulds - just have the wax nice and liquid, but not overly hot otherwise you will melt or warp the moulds.

How to:

  • Melt your beeswax of choice
  • Scent and/or colour if desired - 5% scent load is quite good for the tree decorations
  • Stand the moulds on a newspaper lined work surface
  • Carefully pour in the wax and allow to set
  • There should be no mould sticking, and if you leave them to set until completely cold, no refrigeration is required
  • When cold and set, tap the decorations out onto the bench
  • Using a skewer, carefully push a hole through the "top" of each one ready for a cord or ribbon
  • The wax is actually soft enough to add some embellishments (such as Holly etc)
  • Dust with Mica (use a dry, soft paintbrush) if desired
  • Thread through cord, raffia or ribbon and tie

I used Country Kitchen/Sleighride Fragrance in these decorations - yum!
