10g melted Beeswax
Melt Beeswax, Cocoa Butter and Almond Oil, taking care not to overheat. Remove from heat, add Colour, Flavouring and Stevia, testing as you go to check for strength and sweetness. Stir this in well. Fill Lip Balm Tubes or Pots. Should fill about 13 lip balm tubes or pots. After Dinner Mint Smacker Add the following colouring and flavouring to the recipe above:
½ teaspoon Cocoa Powder or a few chocolate chips
Reserve a little of the liquid oils, and combine cocoa powder and honey (if using chocolate chips add these to the hot oils to dissolve) with this and set aside. Add the flavour oil after the basic mix has cooled a little, then pour into containers and let set, or hurry it on in the fridge if you just cant wait! Note: Although natural, the honey will be a little difficult to mix in because it is a water based ingredient, not oil based.
20g Beeswax
This makes a fairly firm lip butter, so you may wish to either decrease the palm and beeswax, and add the equivalent amount of Macadamia or Almond or Apricot Oil. It has great staying power and its worth playing with to make it to the consistency you prefer!
15g Sweet Almond Oil
As normal, melt the beeswax and coconut oil. Remove from heat, add Colour, Flavouring and Stevia, testing as you go to check for strength and sweetness. Stir this in well. Fill Lip Balm Pots.
