Too Simple Nappy Rash Formula

We recently had the Technical Chemist from the Manufacturers of Oliv-Emulse visit us, and suggested this amazingly simple formula - too easy.

We are using Glycerine's humectant qualities to help hold moisture on the skin of sore bottoms, but its usually so sticky its not suitable for this use. Oliv-Emulse, helps lower any irritation, is completely natural and removes the tack from the glycerine. This combination acts as a barrier to moisture.

On a structural level, the Glycerine gives the skin a quick hit of moisture and hydration, with the Oliv-Emulse coming along later, contributing long lasting moisturisation and barrier formation.

You only need to make up say 100g batch to trial on your Bub, see what you think! 100g costs less than $5.00, and then you can make some amazing moisturiser for you self with the other 95g of Oliv-Emulse!

Makes 100g

5g Oliv-Emulse (5%)
95g Vegetable Glycerine (95%)

Method:

Measure both ingredients in a Pyrex Jug and heat in Microwave until completely liquid - this doesn't take very long
Remove from heat and stir to combine
Spoon into a wide necked tub

NB: Note this formula does not require any preservatives at all as it doesn't contain any water
