Easy Whipped Foamy Bath Butter Recipes 2

A couple more ways to quickly whip up some scoopable soap! Whip, fragrance, colour and pot them up and they are ready for your own bathroom, or for gift giving. Once whipped, our Foamy Bath Butter has a mousse-like texture, never separates and rinses clean. The result is a whipped, light texture cleansing cream.

These two recipes are so simple - the Orange one has no exfoliant, just infused Calendula Oil, Colour and Fragrance, and the White one, has some Bentonite Beads and a blend of 2 Essential Oils and a Fragrance which leaves a fresh and clean feeling after use. You can use Jojoba Beads too as they are wonderful and don't wear away during use.

The packaging pictured is our Economy Tubs which make a really economical and versatile container. Label either on the lid, or use a swing tag using elastic thread to secure around the rim under the lid. Dressed with a Wooden Bath Scoop, they are very appealing.

The recipes use 200g and 160g of Foamy Bath Butter Base respectively which I have whipped to give some volume and its glossy appearance. You'll see the Mango Recipe fills the tub completely, and the Clary Sage and Lime Recipe makes a ¾ filled pot so you can have the fluffy texture showing once sealed with the lid.

There is no heating required, it is whipped cold. This small recipe (one pot) I mixed in a 500ml Pyrex Jug using one balloon whisk type beater (just insert the one beater into the machine).

What you need to make 1 tub of Creamy Mango Soap

How to make

  • Measure out the Foamy Butter Base and place into a medium sized jug/bowl
  • Using an electric whisk - you can use 1 or 2 beaters, set the mixer on medium and begin beat the bath butter
  • Increase to high as the base begins to soften up - this doesn't take long for this small amount
  • Add the Calendula Oil and a couple of drops of Colour - we used Carmine and Yellow Dispersion to make our Mango Mango Colour
  • Add the Fragrance or Essential Oils and continue to whip to combine
  • Increase the mixing speed until it is really whipping the scrub and it is light and fluffy
  • Spoon into Economy Tubs, Bail Jars or wide necked Tubs.

Variations for use in Foamy Bath Butter:

Finely ground loofah for Facial Application or Shredded Loofah for Body Scrubs

Bamboo Powder for Facial Application

Jojoba Beads for face or body application

Natural Clays if you would like it to be a little drawing and more deeply cleansing

For a natural yummy buttery colour, try using some Infused Carrot Oil for an apricot coloured scrub

If using Vanilla based scents, don't forget they will discolour the soap from a deep cream to a dark brown, so take this into account when planning your soap
