Mango Madness!
Method:
For how to make soap from Scratch, please see our Cold Process Soapmaking Instructions Page
- Line the log mould
- Mix a little Citrus Orange with a teaspoon oil and set aside
- Mix a little Sunflower Yellow colour with a teaspoon of oil and set aside
- Bring soap to thin trace and remove approximately 1 cup of soap (I use a plastic ice cream container for this)
- Colour the soap in the ice cream container with Citrus Orange
- Colour the main pot of soap with Sunflower Yellow
- Mix fragrance in thoroughly and pour half of the Yellow portion of soap into the mould
- Then, wearing your goggles, pour the orange soap from about 12 inches (30cm)above the mould controlling where it will sit in the mould.
- Finish the pour with the orange soap again.
- Use a chopstick to swirl the colour to achieve a marbled or swirled effect - drag the colour from end to end in two sweeping motions. (See full instructions for Swirling Soap
here).
- I have finished off my log with Dried Hibiscus Flowers and Jasmine Flowers and sliced it with our Crinkle Cutter.
