Butter Bomb Bliss Balls

Butter Bomb Bliss Balls

Ingredients

Equipment Required

  • A glass, ceramic or stainless steel bowl, a strainer, wooden spoon
  • Moulds, or ice cube trays, bath bomb moulds, or yoghurt tubs and jelly cups

Method:

  • Sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl
  • Add fragrance and stir through well
  • Remove 1/2 cup of mixture and drip colour into this, make this nice and dark, and spritz with witchazel
  • Combine well and set aside
  • Next blend the large batch with hands or wooden spoon, and occasionally spritz with witchazel
  • You may like to get your hands in here. Don't use too much spray or you will activate your Bliss Balls!
  • Mixture should hold together with squeezed VERY firmly in your hand, and should feel a little dry
  • Now on to moulding, you are nearly there.
  • Sprinkle a little of the coloured part of the mixture into the base of the mould.
  • Then fill mould with base recipe, and press VERY firmly into your desired Mould and leave for approximately 1-3 minutes
  • Prepare a surface with greaseproof or waxed paper (preferably on tray), ready to unmould.
  • Beware of open doors and humidity, both will tend to activate the balls.
  • Un-mould and cover with a dry tea towel and allow to air dry for a day if possible.

NB: Work fast during humid weather and in winter as they invariably activate unless you have a dry atmosphere.
