Phenoserve Preservative
A good all round preservative that protects against microbes, fungal attack and bacteria. Use this liquid preservative to inhibit microbial growth in your creams, lotions and salt/sugar scrubs. Phenoserve is a broad spectrum, oil soluble preservative for Oil in Water, Water in Oil and oil based products.
Phenoserve is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients, but is not suitable for many surfactant formulations.
This preservative is more suitable than Liquid Germall Plus for products that are manufactured at higher temperature ranges. Highly effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, yeasts, moulds. Suitable for Moisturisers, (Lotions and Creams), Sugar Scrubs, Conditioners.
This is not a suitable preservative for use in most surfactant formulations

Suitable for a pH range of 3 - 8
