Annatto is a natural yellow colourant which can be used for soap and other bath and body products. The plant material has been macerated in oil (infused) to enable this to be used straight from the bottle into your Melt & Pour Soap or Cold Processed Soap. The colour can be quite intense as you can see from the picture, so take it slowly when you use this colour for the first time.
The intensity of the colour is dependent on the amount added. We used 3/4 teaspoon of colour into 600g traced soap.
Drip straight into Cold Process or Melt and Pour Soap, the colour above is mid to dark tone. Also suitable for lip balm as our Infused Annatto is a food grade product. Natural vegetable dyes tend to fade more quickly than synthetic dyes, so you may wish to take this into account when designing your storage and packaging materials.

Lip Safe, Skin Safe, not suitable for use around eyes.
Natural liquid dyes are packed in Amber Bottles, we recommend they be stored in a dark place. Shake prior to use.
