Annatto is a natural yellow plant-based colourant which can be used for soap and other bath and body products. Our Natural Annatto Oil Soluble Liquid has a 10% concentration of Annatto in vegetable oil. It has a dark orange-brown colour in the bottle, which fades to a yellow colour in soap.
Drip straight into Cold Process or Melt and Pour Soap. The intensity of the colour is dependent on the amount added. Also suitable for lip balm as our Natural Annatto is a food grade product.
Concentration: 10% Annatto in Vegetable Oil *May 2023: This is a stronger concentration than our previously stocked Annatto Liquid - please keep this in mind when colouring your soap and body products.
Solubility: Oil Soluble
Product Suitability: Lip Safe, Skin Safe, not suitable for use around eyes.
Stability: Natural vegetable dyes can fade when products are left in direct light for a period of time
Storage: Packed in Amber Bottles. Store in a dark place. Shake prior to use.
