Megan’s Cleansing Milk

Follow our Lotion Making Instructions.

The following formula can be used to make a light cleanser for oily skin and a heavier one for dry skin.

Phase A

  • 60 - 70 % Distilled Water
  • 2 – 6 % Glycerine
  • 1 – 3 % Almond Glycerides or Glyceryl Cocoate
  • 1 – 2 % Polysorbate 20

    Phase B

  • 4 - 6 % Emulsifying Wax NF
  • 1 – 2 % Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol
  • 12 - 15 % Your Favourite Liquid Oil (eg. Apricot Kernel, Almond, Hemp, Avocado or a mixture)

    Phase C

  • q.s. Preservative
  • 0.25 - 0.5 % Essential Oils or Fragrance of Choice

    Add herbal extracts and colouring as desired. Make sure the total percentage adds up to 100%.

    To use:

    Massage into dry skin to gently remove makeup, dead skin cells and grime. Rinse with a damp face washer or cotton pad.
