Stevia (Sweet Honey Leaf) is a perennial herb native to Paraguay that is a known for its sweetness. More than 300 times sweeter than sugar, Stevia has been used for a sweetener and flavour enhancer for centuries. It also has a long history in Brazilian herbal medicine for treating a variety of complaints. Liquid Stevia is a natural sweetener that can be used to add sweetness to lip balms, and teas and foods.
Food Grade - recommended usage at 1-3% or to taste (approximately 20-25 drops of Stevia is equivalent to 1 cup of sugar)
When used in all oil balms, there will be a little "fall out" as the liquid is not totally oil soluble, but it works very well and we have personally used these drops for several years.
