DL Panthenol (pro vitamin B5)

dl Panthenol is also known as *Vitamin B5* (Pro-vitamin B5) or Panthenol. It is THE additive for all haircare formulations. It is strengthening properties are well-known and widely used in professional formulations. This white powder is 100% active (the liquid is only 50% active which means you need to use double the amount) is water soluble and easily dissolves in cold or hot water. When used in skin care formulations, dl panthenol will effectively reduce irritation and reduce redness and add additional moisturisation. Also useful in after-sun care or tanning lotions.
Usage Rates: Haircare: 0.5-5%, Skincare 0.1-0.5. DL Panthenol can be used in hair-care products and in topical cosmetic preparations.
