Referred to in many ancient scripts, but most recognisably as one of the three precious gifts bestowed upon Baby Jesus by The Three Wise Men. The word frankincense has its roots in 10th century French text meaning "luxuriant incense" Frankincense has a rich, sweet and balsamic aroma - a complexity of fruity, woody and spicy notes. Calms the mind and spirit.
Blends With: Most of the floral, woody, spicy and citrus oils.
