Essential Oils A - L
Essential Oils are used in Aromatherapy and healing, some in our foods as flavourings and in fine Perfumery. They are the natural odorous, volatile oils derived from plants. These maybe herbs, shrubs or trees, and all parts of the plant may be used. Most essential oils are obtained by a steam distillation process. Many citrus oils are obtained by cold pressing, and also contain the natural pigments from the fruit. Essential Oils should be diluted in a Carrier before use and should be researched for Essential Oil Safety. We only stock 100% Pure Natural Essential Oils that conform to Australian Standards.
If you are short on confidence, ideas or experience, why not check our Blending Recipes for suggestions. We recommend you consult a reputable textbook for contra-indications to their use. An Encyclopaedia of Essential Oils is an invaluable tool and reference source when using these wonders of nature.
