Butter up! changes the viscosity (thickness) of oils - so voila, you can make any liquid oil into a soft butter-like consistency! Many customers wish to make a Balm, Salve, Ointment, or Butter out of specific Oils and also wish to avoid using Preservatives of any kind.
Butter Up! is useful for Baby Nappy Rash ointments, Salves etc. and also in the application of Essential Oils. It can also be used to thicken or change the thickness of creams and moisturisers. Butter up is easily handled, as it is in a pastille form, easy to store, weigh and melt.
Butter Up! is also useful to sub into Lip Balm and Massage products if you experience issues with graininess. You can sub it in with less Shea Butter for instance, or as an extender, or make it even more buttery by eliminating the Shea if it causes problems.
