This scent smells just like a heavenly Merlot sweetened by Raspberry, Blueberry and just a hint of Blackberry. Perfect for the connoisseur soapmaker! Berry Wine has been much requested as special orders over the years by Aussie Soapers wanting to make wine soap, so we have added this as a Limited Edition and see how it goes!
You've got to try this one if you want wine soap – a heads up though: it’s smells a bit whoaaaa! out of the bottle, but once it’s soaped is a different story. This fragrance is an especially great scent in the Autumn, when the leaves turn their gorgeous shades of red, orange and yellow.
If you are using actual wine alongside this fragrance we recommend freezing a portion of wine and distilled water and add to the lye solution just before trace. Of course you don’t need to add real wine, and you will still have a nice wine soap! Colours to suit Berry Wine tend to be Red Oxide, even blended with some Blue Ultramarine, Purple mixed with Red and a smidge of Black, or Red/Browns, in fact what you would expect Red Wine to look like. We love magenta/reds swirled through an uncoloured background.
