Easy Sugar Scrubs

Very popular at the moment, sugar scrubs are economical to make and soooo easy! Although these are oil in oil formulations, water does tend to get into the pot so I am using a preservative. The Polysorbate is used as a solubliser and to help keep the emulsion blended together and stop it become a slushy pot of oils. Presented in a Bail Jar or Wide Necked Jar with a Plastic Spoon or Wooden Scoop they look wonderful.

To Use Sugar and Salt Scrubs

Spoon out some of the scrub onto your hand and massage gently onto your skin in a circular motion for a minute or so. (The scrub will tend to tighten on your skin like a masque). Leave on for a few minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

Note: Its a good idea to avoid using scrubs within a few days of an important event ie. your wedding, Year 12 Ball etc, because your skin can develop temporary blotches when it is scrubbed. Ensure you exfoliate about one week prior to the event just to be sure.
