Oakmoss
This rich and musky scent is a must have as a base note for blending. Alone, it produces a deep, nature scent. If you re looking for an alternative to Patchouli, try Oakmoss. It evokes a similar feeling, without smelling so earthy. This scent will discolour all soap (including liquid soap) to a deep mauve-brown colour, but it is easy to work with.
