This finely ground loofah is a different species to our Medium and Coarse Shredded type. This loofah has a different, smoother slightly less ridged structure and is ground as opposed to shredded, making it suitable for more sensitive skin and for use on the face.
We recommend that you start with a smaller amount of loofah in facial products for trial to ensure you aren't over-zealous with delicate facial skin. In a gentle soap (such as Natural, Organic Olive or Goatsmilk Melt & Pour, try 1/2 tsp per 100g, and if you feel you would like more exfoliant, increase to 1 - 1 1/2 tsp per 100g bar. Our loofah can also be added to a facial cream or lotion if you prefer to exfoliate this way.
Use slow gentle circular movements, avoiding the eye area. You will feel a noticeable smoothness after each use. Moisturise as usual.
